The basics: 16/resides in a really flat, really cold state/Personality type INFP/in mutual agreement of adoration with an XY chromosomal being

The expansion: Sometimes the hardest decision in life is deciding whether to compose the “about me” section of any particular social networking site in a witty/comedic or philosophical/serious manner. I usually attempt to combine the two and end up making a stumbling mess of things - though choosing how to portray yourself in front of an endless world of virtual strangers is considerably awkward in itself. But if after reading this unnecessarily lengthy description of my life you conclude, “hey, she seems potentially suitable to befriend,” don’t hesitate to leave me a message - I’d love to chat.

Generally, my time is divided between playing piano, participating in The Fray fandom, shadowing doctors, doing schoolwork, crying because of schoolwork, engaging myself in completely irrelevant internet activities, and exploring my other areas of interest. And I definitely don’t prioritize these things the way I should. oops :3

I’m fairly positive I’m a lot more future-oriented than most people would consider to be healthy - or at least I have been recently, being in my junior year. Even so, my current plans are pretty general though they’ve been pretty consistent for the past few years. I’m hoping to have a career in medicine 15 years from now. My interests lie anywhere from being a PA to an MD and from working in a family clinic to a psychiatrist’s office to a drug abuse rehabilitation center. I’m looking at going to St. Olaf to major in either Biology, Humanities, French, Psychology, or Philosophy. All of the above being an effort to decrease world-suck and spread awesomeness to the highest degree possible. (DFTBA, anyone?)

My character consists a vast array of paradoxes. I love school and learning and being challenged, even though 90% of my conversations consist of complaining about my lack of sleep at the hands of the AP/honors program. I consider myself to be an optimist, even though most people would probably say my catchphrase is, “I hate everything.” (particularly following AP World comprehensive tests) I’ve been playing/teaching classical piano for 11 years, but I’m pretty sure I’m familiar with fewer composers than an elementary school music class. (But Rachmaninov is home-slice forever, yo) On that note, I say things like “home-slice”/”wassup gurl”/”homie”/”fo’rizzle” more than any person ever should ever.
